Tourist information

This route runs through the southernmost part of the Black Forest. The Rhine is the main attraction.
The route is enhanced by views of the Swiss Alps.

Technical specifications

The route starts off downhill and then climbs to reach the pass, almost at the highest point of the trail. This is the southernmost pass in the Black Forest. The entire route is on tarmac roads.
As with most routes in the Black Forest, there are often quite steep gradients to contend with.
