Departure : Lochieu, Bugey-Valromey museum car park. The route starts at the hairpin bend after Bordèze, on the D120 towards Grand Colombier (parking available).
Tourist information
The route follows ridges for the most part. On the Grand Colombier ridge: an orientation point offering 360° views of the Valromey, the Jura, the Alps, and Lakes Bourget, Léman and Annecy. A refreshment kiosk operates at the summit of the Grand Colombier during the summer season. Another point of interest: the museum of the Bugey-Valromey of Lochieu.

Technical specifications
Cycling route of approximately 95 %: some of the descents may be tricky on gravel.
Note: the link between the Col de Charbemènes and the Col du Grand Colombier can be made via the ridge path, but this involves 1.7 km and 200 m of ascent by pushing and carrying.
