Departure From the centre of the village of Tende, near the north exit. Alt: 825 m.

Tourist information

The trails and passes of the Tende crest are well known to mountain bikers and pass enthusiasts alike. Numerous military works line the trails of the ridge that forms the border between Italy and France. There are many remarkable viewpoints along the way.
The first three passes are border passes.

Technical specifications

Most of the route is on pleasant cycle paths. There are also a few more challenging sections. The ascent to the Baisse de Barsenzane is on a partially cycleable path or by pushing.
As an option, from the Baisse d'Ourne you can climb about 1 km to La Porte (FR-06-2100) on an R1/R2.
