Jean-Paul Cuffolo

Jean-Paul Cuffolo, cent cols n°1899 left us on Easter eve just after his seventieth birthday.
He had been ill for over a year, but in a final message he told me that he wanted to hold out until one last Easter arrow. A member of CT Albertvillois for more than forty years, Jean-Paul had experienced the adventure of several arrows, and of Paris Brest.
But above all, he was a relentless centcolist. Even though he was ill, last year he scoured the additives to find himself two wheelchair passes, and presented a list, alas final, of 3587 passes, including 321 2000s. It's a testament to his perseverance, and to the many mountain bike outings where his legendary caution was often abused!
Jean-Paul was also an outstanding guitarist and singer. He was also an accountancy teacher, the rigour of his list of collars being the result of a slight professional deformation!
