The Confrérie des Cent Cols on Cycliste.ch, the website for French-speaking cyclists

Martin Diener presents the Club des Cent Cols on the website cycliste.ch. Launched in 2017 by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, the site brings together all the information relating to road cycling in French-speaking Switzerland. News, the Cyclosportives Calendar, advice and lots of other information to help you enjoy your cycling.

Before Strava, before segments, before KOMs and kudos, cyclists were already climbing passes for the simple pleasure of climbing... and, above all, sharing. Since 1972, the Confrérie des Cent Cols has been bringing together those who like to collect passes, recount routes and compare experiences rather than watts. The same desire as today, sometimes the same obsession, but without app, kudos or leaderboards. In this article, Martin explains how this discreet, but still very much alive, fraternity continues to get cyclists from all over the world to ride one mountain pass after another....
