Club-approved courses for members: specifications
The Club des Cent Cols' approved courses are governed by a strict set of specifications designed to provide a coherent and representative range of courses run by Club members.
Each route has a title consisting of :
- The two-letter national code of the country in which the course is located
- The regional / departmental code
- The name of the route, as chosen by the author
- Example of title : FR-74 Col de l'Iseran / DE-BW Oppennau / IT-CN Boucle des Intersile
The information required of the author of the candidate course are :
- Le first name and surname the author of the route (No pseudonyms)
- A summary description that encourages you to take this route: two or three sentences about the interest, the heritage encountered, the beauty of the place, etc.
- La list of passes on the track with the name and code of the passes with the visugen link
- La date at which the route was completed. Road conditions and the list of passes may change over time. All routes must have been recognised.
- Le place of departure with a vehicle parking area.
- Several keywords (5 maximum) to make it easier to find the route: the starting point and, for example, the name of the main pass, the name of the mountain range.
- Useful information for those following the route:
For road courses, severe gradients, ambient traffic, etc.
For mountain bike routes: pushing sectors, length, probable difficulties, possible dangers, etc.

All the routes labelled club-des-cent-cols are proposed for information only. The authors and the Club des Cent Cols accept no responsibility for the imponderables caused by the cyclist himself, the equipment used, the weather, or anything else relating to the road, the paths, their surroundings or other users.
The requirements to be met by the routes
The routes must not include access to forbidden passes, cross private property or enter Nature Parks or any unauthorised areas in general.
Road routes must
- At least 1 collar
- Stay within a 100 km radius and a maximum of 2500 m of D+ *.
Mule tracks must
- At least 1 collar
- No dangerous or acrobatic sectors
- Point out areas that may act as a deterrent (gaps, bridges, vertigo...)
- Tolerate short, easy pushing sectors, known qualitatively by the author
- Stay within a 50 km radius and a maximum of 1500 / 2000 m of D+ *.
Gravel routes must
- At least 1 collar
- Stay within a 70/80 km radius and a maximum of 2000 m of D+ *.
- Only cycle passes at 100% on R1 and S1 access.
- Tolerating a few short non-cycling sectors (R2/S2 in the return journey, for example)
* A derogation (to be justified) is always possible given the interest of the course.
Organisation
Members should submit their itineraries to the following address:
A group of three people is responsible for examining the admissibility of the route proposed by the author according to the criteria set out. They will be responsible for presenting the routes on the club's website, publishing them in the club's account on Openrunner and managing them.
The routes will be listed on the club's website, in the "Hiking / Member routes / Approved routes" menu, and each route can be opened on OpenRunner by clicking directly on its name.

- You can also refine your search by adding keywords of your choice.
- Each official club course is easily identifiable by the presence of the club logo.
