ccWay is a web-based utility on the Club des Cent Cols website capable of extracting a set of passes using the criteria of your choice. It can output several common types of geolocation file, as chosen by the user. The most immediate use is to produce gpx files for your GPS, but you can use other formats for your favourite geolocation software, such as Google Earth, MapSource, Carto Exploreur and many others.
Although this is its most direct use, ccWay is not specifically intended for users of GPS devices. The files produced by ccWay can be used to plan your outings and trips on maps, to get a 3D view of a group of passes on Google Earth, and for many other uses limited only by your imagination. Once you have chosen a country, you can select the passes by administrative level (Region, Department, Province, Canton, Land, State, etc.), by map number, or make a selection using the mouse on an interactive map. The passes thus obtained can also be subjected to filters: passes < 2000 m, passes ≥ 2000 m or both; one or more levels of difficulty; ccWay can also differentiate between the passes you have already climbed and those you still have to climb. ccWay also lets you filter passes by the date they were included or modified in the Cent Cols database, search for the position of a specific pass by its name or code, view a track on the map from a file on your computer or from an Openrunner route. ccWay works completely online, without installing any software on your computer. Of course, if you wish, you can install the software of your choice to process the files produced by ccWay.
