Introduction to the region :
After 2012 and 2017, Haute-Savoie will once again be welcoming us for the Club des Cent Cols autumn break. We'll be staying at a Cap France establishment, "Les Balcons du Lac", in the hills above Sevrier, overlooking Lake Annecy. 2022 is a special year because our Confrérie will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. Fifty years of passion, fifty years of friendship On the heights of the purest lake in Europe, the holiday village is an ideal base from which to discover the Haute-Savoie region. Between the lake and the mountains, Annecy's historic medieval centre is an invitation to stroll and discover. With its cobbled streets, colourful buildings and emblematic edifices, the Venice of the Alps is a city rich in heritage. Along Annecy's canals, lined with elegant 17th-century mansions, you can discover the riches of the past. The lake invites you to discover its nature reserves, rich in local flora and fauna. On the Roc de Chère, a promontory overlooking the lake, take a family walk and discover the many different species of trees. Half an hour's drive away, discover the unique panorama of the Semnoz, with its 360° views of the Northern Alps and the Jura. During a half-day excursion, you can also discover the typical small villages and local crafts, not forgetting the local cheese "la tome des Bauges". On the shores of Lake Annecy, take advantage of over 40 km of cycle paths to discover the region's hamlets and beaches.
