Introduction to the region :
After 2012 and 2017, Haute-Savoie will once again be welcoming us for the Club des Cent Cols autumn break. We'll be staying at a Cap France establishment, "Les Balcons du Lac", in the hills above Sevrier, overlooking Lake Annecy. 2022 is a special year because our Confrérie will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. Fifty years of passion, fifty years of friendship Sur les hauteurs du lac aux eaux les plus pures d’Europe, le village de vacances est un point de départ idéal pour découvrir la Haute-Savoie. Entre lac et montagnes, le centre historique médiéval d’Annecy est une invitation à la promenade et aux découvertes. Avec ses ruelles pavées, ses bâtisses colorées et ses bâtiments emblématiques, la Venise des Alpes est une cité riche en patrimoine. Au fil des canaux d’Annecy, bordés d’élégantes demeures du XVIIème siècle, laissez-vous conter les richesses du passé. Le lac vous invite à découvrir ses réserves naturelles, riches en faune et flore locales. Sur le Roc de Chère, promontoire sur le lac, une ballade familiale vous fera découvrir de multiples essences d’arbres. A une demi-heure de voiture, découvrez le panorama unique du Semnoz avec une vue à 360° degrés sur les Alpes du Nord et le Jura. Le temps d’une demi-journée d’excursions, vous pourrez également découvrir ses petits villages typiques et l’artisanat local, sans oublier le fromage local “la tome des Bauges”. Sur les rives du lac d’Annecy, profitez d’une piste cyclable de plus de 40 km pour découvrir les hameaux de la région et les plages.
The Programme
Saturday Visite du musée Paccard de 09 h 00 à 11 h 00 Fondée en 1796, la Fonderie Paccard est une institution du patrimoine industriel savoyard. La famille Paccard vous dévoile les secrets d’un savoir-faire ancestral. Entrez dans l’univers des fondeurs de cloches; la féerie du métal en feu, les techniques de fabrication de l’Antiquité à nos jours. La visite commentée des ateliers de la fonderie, avec le visionnage d’un petit film sur un des records du monde que détient la maison, ainsi qu’une démonstration de carillon électronique Website The festive dinner will be followed by a musical evening hosted by a duo from the group Odysée. Sunday tour du lac d’Annecy en sens horaire sur la piste cyclable, rendez-vous devant l’église de Sevrier à 9 h.

Au coeur de la Haute-Savoie, dans le Parc Naturel Régional des Bauges, le village vacances “les Balcons du lac” bénéficie d’un emplacement privilégié. Situé à Sevrier à 8 km d’Annecy sur la route du col de Leschaux, dite “la petite Venise savoyarde”, le village domine le lac d’Annecy et son écrin de montagne. Le salon panoramique et le restaurant vous offre une vue à 180° degrés sur le lac et les massifs du Nord de la Haute-Savoie. L’établissement a bénéficié de gros travaux de rénovation avant le Covid. You will be staying in a twin-bedded room equipped with a television and hairdryer. Beds are made on arrival and towels are provided. Single occupancy is possible subject to availability (at an additional cost).

Si vous prenez en charge votre hébergement ailleurs qu’au village de vacances, merci, malgré tout, de nous prévenir de votre participation au séjour, et ceci pour 3 raisons :
- Pour faciliter l’organisation de cet évènement (ajustement des prestations : pots d’accueil, remise du cadeaux spécial 50 ans).
- To be able to split up into several groups on the routes to improve safety for everyone.
- To help organisers deal with any unforeseen events.
Registrations
To register, download the PDF registration form from the link below and follow the instructions therein. Please note that the registration form available on the Club's website includes four pages You will also need to sign the terms and conditions of the Gritchen insurance policy. If you are planning to be accompanied by your partner, make sure you register him/her as an associate member with your Territorial Delegate beforehand, and don't forget to enter his/her associate membership number in the appropriate box. If, and only if, a participant does not have an FFCT licence, the compulsory insurance of €1 per day must be taken out in addition. Depending on when you arrive and when you leave, the package is different:
- If you arrive on Friday for dinner and leave on Sunday after lunch, you take the 165 euro package.
- If you arrive on Saturday for dinner and leave on Sunday after lunch, you take the €89 package.
- If you arrive on Saturday for dinner and leave on Sunday after breakfast, you take the half-board package at 79 euros.
- Si vous venez sans hébergement (soit AR dans la journée, soit logement par vos propres moyens), vous pouvez vous inscrire pour les repas : déjeuner et dîner à 20,50 euros. Le repas du samedi soir amélioré est à 33 euros.
- Visit the Paccard Museum on Saturday mornings for 11 euros.

Vous pouvez régler le montant de l’inscription by cheque or bank transfer to the Club's account. In view of the additional fees charged by the organisation that manages it, we do not accept payment by PayPal. Assigning members payments are made in the order in which the cheque is sent or the transfer is made. For the former, the postmark will be taken as proof, for the latter, please send us a copy of the transfer order. If the holiday is full, a waiting list will be set up, which will operate according to the same priority allocation rules as for direct registrations. Trombinoscope : If you have not yet provided your photo for the directory and would like to be included, please tick the appropriate box and send us a photo in JPG format by e-mail. From further information will be posted later on the website, which you can consult regularly. Each time, the person in charge of the trips will send a short e-mail to the mailing list. Annual General Meeting of the Club des Cent Cols
L’Assemblée Générale se déroulera à l’Impérial Palace situé sur les bords du lac. Elle se déroulera à partir de 14 h 30 le samedi 05 novembre 2022 dans la salle de l’Europe. Elle sera suivie d’un apéritif. Pour plus de détails rendez-vous sur la page Assemblée Générale. La convocation et les documents statutaires seront diffusés comme d’habitude via un Info Cent Cols au mois d’octobre et seront disponibles sur le site.
Presentation of diplomas and certificates
If you have passed a milestone (500 cols, 1000 cols, etc...) or completed a brevet des cols routiers, you will need to ask Nadine Giraudeau for the diploma and Bernard Giraudeau for the brevet. The presentation will take place on the evening of Friday 04 November in the presence of our founding president, Jean Perdoux. At the AGM, those who have completed the Jean Perdoux challenge will be presented with their brevet, and our member no. 8000, Christophe Marchal, who rides handbikes at a high level, will receive his diploma.
